Permanent Marker Automatic is a 60% indica hybrid. This multi-layered blend starts with a cross of Biscotti and Jealousy and then mixes that with Sherb BX to bring out the Sherbet lineage, while introducing aspects from Girl Scout Cookies, Kush, and Gelato. This has led to relatively short plants with a robust structure.

These plants are a great fit for growers who have limited vertical space but still want to harvest high yields. As an autoflowering strain, these plants don’t need any extra attention beyond basic watering and they’ll flower on their own after a few weeks. However, this means that these plants are a poor choice for any advanced growing techniques.

Growing Permanent Marker Automatic

Permanent Marker Automatic cannabis seeds develop into rather compact and bushy plants with tightly packed nodes which makes them ideal for smaller spaces. Due to their short stature and robust central cola, these plants are a great fit for indoor growers who still want high yields. While short, these plants develop long lateral branches which can grow outwards to occupy a surprising amount of area.

Indoors, Permanent Marker Automatic plants commonly grow to heights between 70-110 cm and can produce up to 250-325 grams per square metre throughout their 65 to 70-day flowering cycle. When grown outdoors, these plants grow only slightly taller with heights above 120 cm being rare. However, they can still produce up to 150-250 grams per plant.

The buds from Permanent Marker Automatic are dense and rich in resin with a frosty white appearance. Their light green colouration is perfectly accented by deep purple hues and bright orange pistils, and the flowers ooze sticky resin. Expect a large central cola supported by several smaller buds on each of the long, slender lateral branches. These flowers are incredibly sticky and covered in dense vegetation which makes trimming a bit of a hassle.

While these plants’ size makes them a good fit for most spaces, their autoflowering nature means that they are not a good fit for any advanced growing techniques such as mainlining, lollipopping, or a screen of green (SCROG) grow. Even though these plants aren’t particularly large, they are still likely to outgrow a sea of green (SOG) setup as growers cannot control when they begin flowering.

These same notes are present in the flavour which is sweet with tangy citrus and a noticeable chemical edge. As you exhale, these flavours are replaced by earthy pine and herbal spice with a smooth, sweet aftertaste that combines lingering notes of citrus zest and a subtle musk.
