Growing Wedding Cake Feminized

Wedding Cake Feminized is a fairly balanced strain (60% indica, 40% sativa) and the fact that it’s feminized means you won’t have to worry about removing any males. The flowering time is another bonus; it’s just 49 to 63 days, so you can gather your harvest fairly rapidly.

Height-wise, Wedding Cake Feminized is pure indica. The plants usually remain compact, so discreet growing isn’t a problem. Structurally, they’re also reminiscent of an indica; stocky and bushy, with plenty of lush, dark leaves. The pistils are pink (rather than orange) and are long and fuzzy. This is a pleasing visual effect, especially when teamed up with the sparkling resin.

The buds tend to be larger on the upper part of the main stem and the higher branches, and have a lot of weight to them. Further down the plant, they’re usually smaller, with a resinous coating. Grown in the right conditions, you’re sure to get a great yield; around 500 to 600g/m2 indoors, and 600g per plant outside.

While Wedding Cake Feminized can be cultivated in a temperate climate, it does best in a continental location. Keep the humidity low, and make sure the plants have plenty of exposure to bright light. Pruning is also important with this strain, to ensure you get the best possible results. Experienced growers might want to try out the SOG (Sea of Green) technique, as it should boost the yields.

Effect, taste, and smell of Wedding Cake Feminized

Wedding Cake Feminized is a nice balance of sativa and indica, which really comes through in the high. The sativa influence is usually felt first, with a rush of energy and euphoria that starts in the head, before sweeping through the body.
