How is 2.75% CBD Oil produced?
Here’s a run-through of how the CBD oil is extracted. Firstly, the hemp is harvested and dried for four hours, before being pressed into pellets. The cannabinoids, terpenoids and flavonoids are then drawn from these pellets, using supercritical C02 extraction.
In the final stages, the extracts are dehydrated and decarboxylated to produce CBD. The CBD is mixed with high quality organic hemp oil, which ensures it is absorbed more effectively in the digestive tract.
The effects, appearance and taste of CBD Oil 2.75%
CBD is highly regarded by many users, thanks to its range of reported benefits. 2.75% is a suitable level of CBD for new users, and it’s important to note that it doesn’t produce a high, as it only contains trace levels of THC (the psychoactive cannabinoid).
The tincture is greenish brown in colour, and may also have a small amount of sediment at the bottom. This residue is normal and doesn’t affect the quality of the product. It tastes strongly of hemp, which is described as an earthy, grassy flavour. Some people like the taste, while others choose to wash it away with water afterwards.
